Had dinner with the family here. It is super good! The only thing I would have probably skipped was the tofu appetizer. It was kind of blah. Service was excellent.

The restaurant is in Walnut Creek downtown and there are several restaurants in the same street and it happened that this is the least busy of the group. The moment we were in the restaurant we noticed that it was not busy but it was really noisy and we needed to shout to be able to have a conversation. The tea salad was good, the eggplant was too greasy but the flavor was ok, the noodles with duck was very good, and the somosas were acceptable

Fast, friendly, great deal. I love Burma 2. The Mango salad is to die for. Portions are large. Taste and texture just perfect.

Went to Burma 2 and tried a few of the vegetarian dishes. The palata bread with curry was super good, and I really enjoyed the peanut leaf salad too, lots of flavor. I also had the tofu curry with veggies, which was fine, but the tofu itself didn’t have much taste and was a little too chewy for me. Overall though, the food was tasty and the service was excellent. Mark was our server and he took great care of us. I’d definitely come back to try more of the vegetarian options.

Burma 2 is hands down one of the best Burmese restaurants in the area, and Walnut Creek is incredibly lucky to have such a standout dining destination. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the care and passion that goes into every dish, making it more than just a meal—it’s an experience. The fried rice options here are absolutely out of this world. Each bite is packed with flavor, showcasing the perfect balance of spices, textures, and fresh ingredients. But it’s not just the rice that shines—the way they cook their meat is exceptional. Whether it’s tender chicken, succulent beef, or perfectly seasoned pork, every protein is prepared with so much care and love that it’s impossible not to notice. The atmosphere at Burma 2 strikes a great balance between casual and special. It’s the kind of place where you can feel comfortable showing up in jeans, but it also has a sense of occasion that makes it perfect for a date night or a celebration. My fiancé and I thoroughly enjoyed our experience, from the warm service to the incredible food. If you’re in Walnut Creek and craving Burmese cuisine, Burma 2 is a must-visit. With its phenomenal dishes, welcoming vibe, and attention to det
